My God, your God, and the non-God . . .

I have a deep belief in God .  .  .  the Source .  .  .  the Supreme Being .  .  .

And, this belief and trust guides my thoughts, emotions, and physiology/actions/behaviours in many ways .  .  .

But, a God with human qualities and personality?  No .  .  .

A personal God?  No .  .  .  A Christian God?  A Judaic God?  An Islamic God?  A Hindu God?  No .  .  .

What is the God I speak of?  It's pure consciousness .  .  .  Not necessarily understandable by all human beings .  .  .

It isn't He or She .  .  .  It's the ultimate Unity .  .  .  The Middle Pillar in a Kabbalistic sense .  .  .  The Middle Way .  .  .

What does God want from us?  Wherever we are on the Karmic Ladder, the expectations of God are different .  .  .  We aren't all able to act on the same level .  .  .

For me .  .  .  God is demanding certain things .  .  .

One .  .  .  Wish the best for all beings .  .  .

Two .  .  .  Ask for what I need to fulfill my purpose in this life .  .  .

Three .  .  .  Express gratitude consciously .  .  .

Four .  .  .  Think beautiful thoughts .  .  .

Five .  .  .  All things occur in the right time and right place if we're connected, and if we can see the meaning in events in our lives .  .  .

Six .  .  .  All beings are a manifestation of the Divine .  .  .  If we treat them as such, it has a profound effect upon our behaviour .  .  .

In short, God isn't loving, isn't unloving, isn't black, white, or gray .  .  .  God IS .  .  .

IS what?  

Is whatever we need God to be given where we are in our place in the time/space continuum in this lifetime .  .  .

In the end however, points one through six aren't a bad place to start .  .  .
